Visit Ho Son commune in Vinh Phuc

Lang Ha lake in Vinh PhucHo Son commune belongs to Tam Dao district, Vinh Phuc province, about 40km from Hanoi. Ho Son is the midland region adjacent to the Tam Dao mountain range, Ho Son has the mountainous terrain with undulating hills, come between narrow paddy fields forming terraces over the hill. Coming to Ho Son visitors will will enjoy special local vegetables like Chayote, scenic view of Lang Ha lake and offer incense at the sacred Chan Suoi temple. These are two typical places and is the pride of the local people.

Chan Suoi temple is located at the foot of Silver Waterfall, combining all streams flowing around the area, the temple is in Lang Ha hamlet, a provincial historical site and was renovated in 1996. Chan Suoi temple is in a romantic position of mountains and rivers, the front is a large flow of a stream pouring into Lang Ha lake, on the right is Silver Waterfall and the ancient iron wood forest, Chan Suoi bridge is only 27m long however it bears the shape of romantic and poetic Kieu Bridge with large and cool place, immense sky and water and shady trees. The temple is right on the Highway 2 from Vinh Yen to Tam Dao district.

The gate of Chan Suoi temple includes 4 pillars. Over 100m pass the gate is main part, Chan Suoi temple is designed with 4 horizontal chambers, wide open at the beginning as a veranda, the parapet is built above, decorated with 2 dragons flanking a moon. Below is 2 columns forming an entrance. The space in the middle of the temple has a 1.2m tall cylindrical pillar, visitors can put the offering tray on top. Legend has it that her burial tomb of Dao Lieu, mother of the Royal Queen named Lang Thi Tieu, who was said to passed away when she arrived here, her grave was built by the ants and soon become a sacred grave, and thus local people built this temple dedicated to her.

Lang Ha lake comes from Tam Dao mountain and flows to Cuu Yen stream and spread to Gia Khanh, Huong Son and Tam Hop communes, the lake's water volume is large with beautiful scenery, peaceful setting, partly quiet and isolated, Lang Ha lake is surrounded by Tam Dao mountain and undulating hills. Lang Ha lake is seen as a beautiful natural picture. From on high, the small green lake is an ideal location for those who want to avoid the noise, immersed in nature. The serenity helps forget all troubles, fatigue and bustle of life and fall into the tranquil atmosphere.

Coming to offer incense at Chan Suoi temple visitors can view Lang Ha lake within the sight for the lake is just next to the temple, in this situation you will feel more relax, especially when you see the peaceful life of people living around the lake, the picture of a boat sliding over the tranquil water at sunset or the little house nestled beside the hill.

Surrounding the lake is Tam Dao mountain, interspersed between ancient forest. Not only can you behold the lake scenery, visitors also have the opportunity to explore the majestic beauty of Tam Dao mountain range, on top of the mountain you will discover natural forests and feel incredible beauty.
